Gateways Counselling is seeking a Registered Psychologist to assume a practice that already has a well-established client base that has been running for four years. Gateways Counselling is owned and operated by Judy Wright M. Ed., Registered Psychologist. for 34 years. Gateways Counselling has established a well-recognized, client-focused, customer service, evidence-based, client-orientated counselling clinic. Gateways Counselling takes pride in the affirming, non-judgmental, diverse and collaborative environment that has been fostered and created at Gateways. Gateways Counselling looks after your marketing, all office expenses and provides you with a furnished office to assist you to run your practice effectively. Gateways Counselling is looking for a registered psychologist that wants to establish a long-term relationship with Gateways.
About the position
The individual should be currently registered with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists at the counselling and/or clinical level and have your authorized practice authorization. Your MRA competencies and experience should include the ability to work with a wide variety of issues, i.e.) mood disorders, trauma, PTSD, workplace issues, stress and personality disorders. The capacity to work with a wide range of ages, individuals, families, and groups would be helpful. At the minimum, be able to work with individuals age 14+ and adults.

Strong communication, rapport and excellent counselling skills in various modalities should be evident. This Individual should also be able to work effectively in a team environment, participate in monthly team meetings and occasional community events. This individual should demonstrate self-initiative/directive skills and have a willingness to work flexible hours. You should also be motivated to continue to build your thriving practice.

The individual should have at least five years’ experience in order to qualify to direct bill to various insurance companies and NIHB. Gateways utilize the online platform of Jane to manage bookings, record keeping, payment and invoicing to various insurance companies. This individual would be required to become familiar with this platform.

Renumeration is competitive at a 60% split to the counsellor and 40% split to Gateways. Payment is made on a bi-weekly basis.
